Program Summary:

Access to Information (a2i) organized a day-long seminar on “The National Career Guidance Network for Unemployed Youth” on 27th December 2022 at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo-theater, Dhaka. The access to Information (a2i) Programme is a UNDP and USAID-supported project having its office at the Prime Minister's Office. The Director of CPC, Professor Mohammad Khasro Miah, and the Assistant Officer of CPC, Mahmudur Rashid from North South University, attended the workshop. Their discussion appeared more appropriate as they wanted to establish a bridge between academic and industrial/professional life. In order to minimize unemployment, the education system needs to be elevated to help the striving youths of Bangladesh. The stakeholders including (existing career guidance centers/clubs, industry associations, government/private agencies, and academia) were present to articulate the scopes to work together.
