B-MEET 5th Batch Closing Ceremony

Program Summary:

The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University operates the B-MEET (Bangladesh- Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training Project) Program in partnership with JICA, the University of Miyazaki, and the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). B-MEET bridges Japan and Bangladesh, creating career opportunities in Japanese industries and offering training through the B-JET Center for students from North South University and other Public and Private universities.

The Closing Ceremony of the Bangladesh-Miyazaki ICT Engineers Educational Training (B-MEET) program's 5th batch was held at the B-JET center at the North South University premises. During the Closing Ceremony of the 5th Batch of B-MEET, Professor Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah, the Director of the Career and Placement Center (CPC), and Prof. Yasunori Yano at the University of Miyazaki and Sub Project Manager of B-MEET, awarded twenty trainees certificates acknowledging their outstanding performance. This highlights their dedication to mastering crucial ICT skills for a successful career in Japan, earned through program completion and perfect attendance. Attendees of the B-MEET program had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Japanese culture, gain insights into business etiquette, and cultivate crucial interview skills while focusing on professional business grooming.

At the Closing Ceremony, representatives from the University of Miyazaki in Japan, including Sina Sardar, Assistant Professor at the University of Miyazaki, alongside Ozuwa Takeo from the University of Miyazaki, were trained B-MEET students. Professor Yasunori Yano delivered closing remarks and congratulated the B-MEET trainees for their successful accomplishment. In addition, Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah delivered an encouraging message filled with gratitude, motivating the recently graduated trainees. He expressed heartfelt thanks to JICA, JETRO, BCC, the University of Miyazaki, and other stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and support.
