Program Summary:

The Career and Placement Centre of North South University organized an event titled ‘The Pharma Troopers: Setup Your Career in the Pharma Industry’ at the university auditorium on Sunday.

This event provided insights and guidance for students aspiring to build their careers in the pharmaceutical field, said a press release.

Professor Mohammad Khasro Miah, director of the Career and Placement Centre, expressed the importance of the pharmaceutical industry in today’s world and the many opportunities it offers to young professionals.

The session was enlightened by Shaikh Raisuzzaman, manager at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Shoaib-ul Islam, senior deputy manager at Insulins, Synovia Pharma PLC, Saiham Ahmed Bin Halim, senior assistant manager at Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Throughout the event, the speakers and industry professionals shared their insights on a range of topics, including the diverse opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, the essential preparations for a successful career in this field, and strategies for breaking into and navigating its intricacies.

Students also engaged in an interactive question and answer session, and the top three participants were awarded prizes in this knowledge exchange moment.
