Nasrin Pervin is the Coordinator for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences under the Career and Placement Center (CPC) at North South University. She is also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English and Modern Languages. With expertise in academic writing, English studies, and critical pedagogy, she is committed to supporting student growth both inside and outside the classroom. Nasrin actively mentors students, facilitates career-oriented initiatives, and encourages participation in co-curricular activities. Through her role in CPC, she works to bridge academic learning with professional development, helping students build confidence, leadership skills, and career readiness.

Mr. Md. Adit Muktadir Pavel

Md. Adit Muktadir Pavel is a seasoned Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North South University. Having earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, he brought his expertise to NSU in 2010. In May 2023, he assumed the role of Coordinator at the Career Placement Center (CPC), demonstrating a dedicated commitment to enhancing connections between NSU and industry partners. Prior to his role at CPC, Mr. Adit contributed significantly to the academic environment, serving as an advisor for the NSU Pharmacy Club and fulfilling responsibilities as an Assistant Proctor at NSU. His multifaceted experience underscores his passion for both academic excellence and fostering meaningful industry collaborations.

Mr. Omar Nasif Abdullah

Mr. Omar Nasif Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer. He joined North South University as a full-time faculty in Fall 2013. Mr. Omar returned to Bangladesh the same year with an MSc. in Marketing with a specialization in Services Marketing from the prestigious Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester, UK.

Mr. Omar is a curious academic. He looks forward to exploring new avenues to teach Marketing in the context of evolving marketplaces disrupted by technological innovations. He mentored scores of budding entrepreneurs who loved his industry-focused in-class training on strategic brand management and promotional planning. As a part of building effective industry-academia partnerships, he regularly collaborates with the industry as a consultant and facilitator. I am also a published author.

Mr. Omar has had numerous roles within North South University apart from teaching. His active role in conceptualizing and executing the integration of the registration and payment system of the NSU as an admission sub-committee member, revising the NSU Code of Conduct to transform it into a student-focused device as a member of the proctorial team, and completely changing the framework for designing NSU Admission's promotional contents are some of his influential roles that demonstrate three uncompromising work philosophies of him- innovation, diligence, and teamwork.

His research interests include services recovery, customer relationship management (from the aspect of value co-creation), integrated marketing communications, strategic brand management, digital marketing (focused on social media), and strategic management.

Dr. Riasat Khan

Dr. Riasat Khan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh, and began his academic career as a Lecturer at Green University of Bangladesh. He later earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New Mexico State University, USA, where he also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. At NSU, he served as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator (EEE/ETE) from 2023 to 2024. He is actively involved in the BAETE accreditation process and has completed BAETE Evaluator Training (Tier-1). His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Smart Systems and IoT.
